Volunteer Food Growing & Gardening sessions - all welcome!

Mobile Garden City on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a community-led space where local residents and community groups can connect with nature, network and learn new skills through our programme of free workshops and activities. The movable community garden is located on the corner of Temple Mills Lane and Honour Lea Avenue on Chobham Manor, near Chobham Academy.

Gardening activities and workshops are suitable for all ages and levels of experience. Volunteers can get involved in free weekly workshops about urban food growing and the principles of growing organically, for example, that are led by our experienced Community Gardeners. There are plenty of seasonal garden tasks to be completed at the garden, including propagation, planting, turning compost, weeding and watering. Everyone is welcome to join the gardening workshops on Mondays between 1-2pm:

1st May: Growing pumpkins & squashes
8th May: Companion planting
15th May: Grow your own beans
22nd May: Growing edible flowers
29th May: Herb Growing
