Shops and Retail Units in East Village

Opening its doors in May, REDYELLOWBLUE is the latest offering from the JaguarShowsColective (JSC) – a group of artist and producers who run venues in East London that focus upon patrons in creative industries and upon supporting the arts.

Inspired by 70’s & 80’s home décor with woodchip wallpaper and an Artex Colonnade, the interiors will form the backdrop to a changing roster of artists.

Take in the beauty of creativity both on the walls and on your plate. Enjoy a daily menu of Wild Boar dogs, perfectly cooked burgers and a ‘Proper Northern Roast’ on Sundays! Not to mention Allpress coffee, cocktails, and a selection of locally and internationally sourced spirts and beers.

Keep an eye on the East Village website for more news on JSC launch dates and lots, lots more…

Welcome to Yonder @milkmade — we hear you’re due to launch sometime end of June / July.

Can you give us a sneak peak or idea about what’s on the menu?

#258

Thanks @GetLivingLondon - please can you tell us more about the East Village Market starting on 5th June?

How many stalls will it grow to? What’s the long term vision?

#259

There will be lots more information about East Village Market to come!

In other retail news, Hand Cafe have opened today.

The owners of Hand are the proprietors of 46b Espresso Hut in Homerton and have an excellent reputation for quality coffee, pastries and cakes.

Hand will be introducing a selection of Greek Inspired food in due course and each of their Barista’s is a coffee maker extraordinaire, so they are a must visit for the coffee lovers out there. They also sell beer.

They are located on Victory Parade, on the ground floor of Coville Mansions.

Had a fantastic meal last night, we were the first dinner customers. Amazing chicken wrap, a bean salad with roasted peppers, and a fermented pasta dish. Can’t wait to go back.

Heard a rumour that Milkmade opened today, anyone been past? Do we even know exactly what it is yet?

#263

Hey Todd. Only for friends and invited guests I’m afraid. Managed to get a copy of their menu though
