One of my colleagues lives in East Village, and has suggested I post up an event we’re hosting at Toynbee Hall.
We’re inviting private renters to join us in responding to a call for evidence on private tenancy deposit reform.
The call for evidence is from The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government who want to know about:
- The barriers you face when providing a second deposit
- Your views on approaches that might help you to move more easily, like ‘zero deposit’ schemes and employer-backed loans
Join us on Wednesday August 14th 2019, 5.30 – 8.00pm at The Wellbeing Centre, Toynbee Hall, 28 Commercial Street, E1 6LS to respond to their online consultation
You can register here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/edit?eid=67028396739&preview=1#preview
Bring a laptop or tablet, or let us know if you need one.
We’ll have a housing expert helping us to go through the questions and we can discuss our responses as a group.
Free pizza provided.
