Present|Plant|Press: learn to draw from nature workshop

Welcome to Present|Plant|Press

We invite you to come and spend a relaxing afternoon drawing in and around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London.

This is a workshop for anyone, even if you think you can’t draw - we will show you that you can!

The workshop will start with some short visualisation and drawing exercises, then we will take you on a drawing journey and give examples of how drawing in nature can be a form of meditation in itself.

The workshop is led by local artist Anne-Laure Carruth and designer Anna Holder, accompanied by herbalist Melissa Ronaldson who will be sharing her knowledge of wild plants and landscapes with us as we explore the park.

We will use a drawing of your choice done on the day to contribute to a mindfulness colouring book that we will be printing at the end of May. All workshop participants will receive free copies of the book through the post to help you continue your creative practice, or share as a gift for family and friends.

We have three dates available:
13 May, (1-5pm)
14 May, (1-5pm)
20 May, (1-5pm)

This is a free workshop, and tea and coffee will be provided.

BOOK HERE: please email and state which date you would like to join and how many people you are booking for. We will meet at 1pm at the Chobham Manor Marketing suite. Please note the workshop will take place indoors in the instance of wet weather.

This event is part of Our Living Art at Chobham Manor.
