We’re welcoming Brouwerij Kees from the Netherlands to the bar for a tap takeover and meet the brewer at Mason & Company in Here East! This is an amazing opportunity to taste some mind-blowing Dutch beers that either take classic styles and turn them on their head or create something entirely new.
Owner and brewer Kees Bubberman himself will be joining us on the night and we’ll have 6 beers pouring from 5pm, delivered fresh from the Netherlands.
Mosaic Hop (5.5%): Refreshing, lightly amber, with the typical citrus-fruit flavour of Mosaic-hop from the USA.
Pizza Hawaii (5%): Pizza Hawaii is a pale ale, fruity from the pineapple and a subtle oregano and basil aroma.
Export Porter (10.5%): A recipe which dates back to the 19th century results in this Intense, almost black, velvet-like beer with chocolate and coffee flavours.
Hazy Morning (6.4%): DDH New England IPA, with Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra hops.
Barrel Project 18.05 (Barley wine) (11.2%): Barleywine aged on craigellachi barrels.
Session IPA (3.5%): A refreshing IPA, which proves that a full flavour, rich hop flourish and low alcohol content can go hand in hand.
Rumour has it that Kees might be bringing some delicious local Middleburg cheese to accompany the beers, so don’t miss out. This event is free to attend.
