As you may be aware, Newham College owns and manages the Fashion and Textile Museum situated in Bermondsey Street SE1 3XJ We are currently looking for an experienced design and project manager who can work with us on the upcoming Orla Kiely exhibition. Salary: £28,560 pro rata

This is a hands-on role as part of a dynamic team project planning in the lead up to installation, realising the exhibition design and managing set builders, budgets, graphics, exhibition partners and under the direction of the Head of Exhibitions. The only museum in the UK solely dedicated to showcasing developments in contemporary fashion, the Fashion and Textile Museum also provides inspiration, support and training for those working in the industry. Founded by iconic British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, the museum is owned by Newham College London – one of Europe’s largest further education colleges – and offers a programme of changing exhibitions, courses and events.

Working 5-days a week Monday to Friday, you will also be flexible around the demands of the Museum programme to ensure business needs are met.
