SEPTEMBER AT THE PARK

Take a stroll through the Parklands and enjoy the vibrant gardens and pathways in all their glory before the Park is taken over by autumnal shades of orange. The boat tours, swan pedalos or even the free Park trails will help to guide you through the Park on a memorable route.

If you can’t get enough of free community fun, be sure to join us for the Harvest Stomp on Sunday 23 September. With music, food and plenty of entertainment, everyone is invited to see out the summer in style. Erdinger’s Oktoberfest is coming to the Park for a whole month too. The authentic German beer festival brings all things sausage, steins and sauerkraut for a huge Bavarian bash.

Still have energy to spare? Run around on the state-of-the-art playgrounds, venture to the top of the ArcelorMittal Orbit, ride the world’s longest and tallest tunnel Slide, or check out one of the many upcoming events. With free entry to the Park all year round, everyone is invited to join us this month to make some medal-worthy memories to take into autumn.

Sing East Community Choir is looking for new singers to join the community choir that is run in the East Village.

The Sing East Community Choir rehearses every Wednesday evening from 8-9pm at Chobham Academy. The choir is completely free to join and no experience is required. This is a great way for somebody to improve their musical knowledge, sing, and to meet people within their local community. You can only join if you’re over the age of 18.

They are hosting a welcome session on Wednesday 19 September (please see the flyer below for more information)

OCTOBER AT THE PARK

They say autumn is a mosaic of all the other seasons combined into one. With the promise of vibrant colours, (potentially) warm weather, a reason to don your new winter coat - everyone is a winner!

It may seem like the children have only just returned to school, but we all remember those days of freedom! Why not bring them to the Park for unlimited amounts of fun across the parklands, London 2012 venues and more - there are plenty of ways to embrace the outdoors during October half term.

Throughout the month, there are tons of events to enjoy too. With everything from the London Lions to the world class cyclists in the atmospheric Six Day London - check out the competition below to win tickets! There’s also boxing, netball and more to look forward to - it’s going to be an action packed October.

Not forgetting that the ArcelorMittal Orbit is open all year round too! As the nights draw in, the opportunity for stunning skyline sunsets increase. Venture to the top of the UK’s tallest sculpture and, if you dare, ride the world’s longest tunnel Slide! You can even celebrate bonfire night with tickets to watch London’s fireworks from the top on 3 November.

Remember, entry to the Park is free all year-round, so escape the city this month without even leaving Zone 2 and get ready for an autumn adventure!

NOVEMBER AT THE PARK

The nights may have drawn in, but the Park is still brimming with world-class activities and events to enjoy throughout the colder months. The iconic venues from the London 2012 Games remain open for action all year round too, with cycling, swimming and more to keep you going!

Autumn continues to sweep across the parklands, with stunning promenades and gardens, lined with vibrant oranges and rustling leaves - captured perfectly by our many Park visitors as shown on our Instagram page.

November is certainly another busy month as we welcome the Shrouds of the Somme - an iconic artwork display taking place on the South Park Lawn (next to the ArcelorMittal Orbit). The England Roses will be returning to the Copper Box Arena with more international netball matches.

Alongside the state-of-the-art playgrounds, free and interactive trails, food, drink and many more activities available across the Park - everyone is invited to embrace the outdoors this month.

Remember, entry to the Park is free all year-round, so escape the city this month without even leaving Zone 2 and get ready for an autumn adventure!
