How we all doing? I’m leading a ride out to Toot Hill, 74k in total. Pace should be around 26-27kph with a quick insta’ stop halfway.

Meet: usual place opposite Sainsbury’s
Set off time: 8.30am
Saddle time: 2-3hrs
Pace: 26-27kph
Drop: No
Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/9226088
GPX: Toot Hill, Chipping, Morton (1).gpx (129.0 KB)

Also, can people download the route onto their garmin as I am currently bike computerless after my phone mount broke last week.

Nice ride out today folks. A bit chilly and quite breezy but still a lovely day out on the saddle. Good turnout and teamwork at the front.

Til next time!

Accessible Ride to High beach with the option of hill loops.
Ride leaders : @Henry
Date : 14.10.18
Avg. Pace : 21-23kph
Distance : Around 50km
Setting off : Usual spot across from Sainsbury’s in Victory Park at 08:30
Saddle time : 2- 3 hours
Drop? : No drop (nobody left behind) - but make sure you are comfortable with the pace and distance above. The hill loops will be done at individual pace, there and back is no drop.

Hi everyone, I will be riding out to the High Beach Acorn Hut in Epping Forest for our fortnightly accessible ride. Once there, those who want can do some hill loops around High Beech before we head back into town for around 11am. This is a NO DROP ride so we’ll all stay together for the ride out and back taking it at a casual speed but please make sure you are comfortable with the distance and average pace above.

Remember to give your road bike a good check over in advance - tires pumped, breaks working etc - and to bring enough water and snacks to fuel your ride and a spare inner tubes in case of punctures. Please don’t bring rucksacks, locks or unnecessary weight, though helmets are required. The Acorn tea hut sells snacks and drinks but only takes cash.

For those who have done a few rides with E20CC before its time to sign up as proper members - Want to join E20 Cycling Club?

Hi Henry, I’ll be there, this will be my first ride with you. Are you riding in any weather condition?

#8

Hi @An_Ya - just checked the weather forecast and it does look decidedly bad so I’m cancelling tomorrow’s accessible ride.
