Hi everyone — here the details about the next PhotoWalk that I'll be hosting for ShareEast.
Night PhotoWalk of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Friday 21 August 2015, 8pm – 10pm
Meeting point: Timber Lodge Café (1A Honour Lea Avenue E20 3BB — close to the Velodrome in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park).
We will head to the 'Olympic Rings' hill for the sunset and start the walk from there.
Join us as we once again look through a camera lens to explore the architecture and landscape of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Our next walk on Friday 21 August is with a difference – it’s at night! The walk will last around 2 hours.
ShareEast PhotoWalk August competition: Everyone attending the walk is invited to enter our monthly competition to win a copy of the limited edition photobook “It takes a Dream to Create a Village”, courtesy of Lend Lease. The book uses beautiful imagery to tell the story of how Lend Lease built the Athletes Village for the Olympic Games. The lucky winner will be chosen from all photos taken during the walk & posted to the ShareEast Instagram page using #ShareEastPhotoWalkAugust.
What you’ll need for the PhotoWalk:
- Tripod (essential for long exposure photography)
- Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear footwear that is comfortable and suitable for walking
- Please be safe and be aware of your surroundings at all times
**Cost: 2 Echoes***
*You will need to be a member of ShareEast to attend this event. ShareEast is a network of people giving their time to share skills or offer help to other members. For every hour shared, members earn a currency called an Echo to ‘spend’ on skills offered by other members. 1 hour shared = 1 hour earned.
When booking your place, you’ll be registered as a member of ShareEast. To cover the 2 hour walk, 1 Echo will be debited from your account (don’t worry we give you 5 Echoes to get you started).
