Coming up at Stratford Circus Arts Centre

Three world premieres, theatre, music, spoken word and circus: here’s what’s happening in 2019.

The season begins with Flight Paths , a multi-media production in which blind performers tell ancient tales from around the world using aerial, music and innovative audio description.

In March we premiere Becoming by Ayo-Dele Edwards as part of our celebrations for International Women’s Day and associate artist Libby Liburd returns with new show Fighter about the pioneering British women boxers who fought for their right to fight.

We’re also thrilled to welcome Kaveh Rahnama in Home Sweet Home , Body Politic with Father Figurine and Javaad Alipoor’s award-winning The Believers Are But Brothers following acclaimed runs in London and Edinburgh.

In May we have three performers from Nepal tell a deeply personal story through circus and spoken word in As A Tiger in the Jungle , Teatro Vivo return to take you on a tour through Stratford with The Hunters Grimm and Another England explores identity, citizenship and what it means to belong.
