Clarnico Quay Design and Research showcase

#1

Make Shift have been conducting a research and design study, exploring how a temporarily vacant space could be used to provide lasting opportunities for independent businesses and local people. Over the last year, we have been very busy with our sketchbooks and spreadsheets working hard to develop a feasible design and business plan for the temporary project we’ve been exploring on the vacant Clarnico Quay site between the Copper Box Arena and the canal by Hackney Wick.

We are hosting a design and research showcase event TONIGHT at The Old Baths in Hackney Wick from 6.30pm - 8.00pm. The event will be an opportunity to see our latest designs for the space before we submit a planning application later in February. We hope to take you on a journey of how our research study has informed the design of the space and to let you know how to get involved in the project if our planning application is successful. We’ll have teas, coffees and Greek food to keep you nourished all evening.

More details about the Clarnico Quay project can be found online at: clarnicoquay.org. If you’d like to attend this evening, please register here.
