Big Fish Little Fish Family Rave 5th Anniversary @ fabric

Award-winning family rave pioneers Big Fish Little Fish will celebrate their five year anniversary at fabric this September.

The DJ line up will include legends of dance culture Terry Francis, London Elektricity, Jacob Husley (WetYourSelf), BCee and Chris Inperspective.

BFLF started in July 2013 with a party for 300 people with children at the Effra Social in Brixton. They now play regularly all over the UK and Australia.

The BFLF crew are seasoned clubbers and parents - families creating great events for families, inspired by their love of clubbing. The music is an eclectic mix of rave, drum n bass, jungle, techno, house, and a few genre-defying curveballs. Lights, bubbles, confetti cannons and giant balloons - not to mention a licensed bar - add to the festival atmosphere and everyone joins in with the parachute dance finale.

There’s face-painting, crafting, a giant mural to colour in and a baby chill out zone. Supervised buggy parking and friendly, fully-trained stewards help things run smoothly and safely.

BFLF will be hosting two rooms of DJs at the iconic Farringdon club - Room 1 with Terry Francis and Jacob Husley and room 2 programmed by Hospital Records, featuring London Elektricity, BCee and Chris Inperspective.

Big Fish Little Fish was a big supporter of the #savefabric campaign - Jacob Husley DJed a special #savefabric BFLF family rave with his infant son on his shoulders to raise awareness for the ultimately successful campaign to re-open the club. The BFLF teams from all over the UK attended the re-opening weekend of fabric and are delighted to finally run an event at this much-loved venue.

BFLF are four-time winners of the ‘Best Family Event’ audience choice category at the Fantastic For Families awards and appear regularly at Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, The V&A, The National Gallery, Pride and nightclubs, arts centres and festivals all over the UK and Australia. They have also been seen and heard on BBC News, BBC 6 Music, BBC Music Biggest Weekend, The Evening Standard, The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Pop Sugar and Time Out.

Hannah Saunders, BFLF Founder/CEO says: ‘Bringing Big Fish Little Fish to fabric is a dream come true. Fabric has been such an inspiration and home to so many brilliant memories for thousands of clubbers, myself included. It will be an honour and a privilege to rave with our families on its dancefloors. Come throw some shapes in the ultimate church of dance!’

Tickets are priced at £12 for adults, £8.50 for children and free for pre-walking infants and are available from
